Basketball

Today I had a basketball game. The final score was 39 to 24.
I scored 16 of those!!! At the end of the game I took a shot
3...2...1. I made a last second shot!!

Catherine's Birthday

Today for my birthday I went to the movies to see Bedtime Stories. It was so funny. Later we got a manicure. We came home and then played our Wii. When our guests arrived they played too. I kicked my grandpas butt.We ate dinner and cake.It was the best one yet.

Jameson stayed in San Diego for Christmas.  We sure missed him.  He went to Las Vegas for New Years.  It is a good thing that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".  Not sure I really want to know what really happened.  What I do know is that he had a great time and won a little money.

Happy New Year!!   We had a wonderful Christmas.  We were very blessed to receive many gifts this year.  Not only "stuff " but the joy of giving to others.  We adopted a family and had a lot of fun trying to give them a great Christmas.  We got to visit with Rachel and her friend Josh.  We exchanged gifts with grandma, grandpa and Aunt Rachel before Christmas.  We went to St. Louis on Christmas day to visit the Szukalski  side of the family.   We did not hear from the girls the entire trip due to wonderful gifts from Santa.  They listened to their Ipods and played Nintendo DS.   While in St. Louis we got to spend a lot of time with the Peters and John, Becky, Hannah and Faith.  Faith is getting so big.  She has cute chubby cheeks.  She looks like a little angel.  She has to be one of the happiest babies I have seen.  We had a great visit.  Jim will be going back because his dad is having a knee replacement on the 6th of January.  Please pray for him, the family and the people in the hospital performing the surgery and caring for him. 

For New Years Eve, the girls and I watched tv, ate pizza and watched the ball drop in New York (twice).  I had so much fun  spending time with my girls.

Well the kids are out of school and the fun has begun.  Last night we went to Longview Lake and did a drive through light display.  It was very cool.  The kids loved it.  It is freezing cold here.   It is in the 30's now but feels like  20's.  We are supposed to get snow and freezing rain today.  I bet Jameson is not missing this cold weather.  He needs to come home and shovel the driveway for me. 

Not that anyone is counting in our house, but only 2 more days until Christmas.

Caroline is out of school for winter break and Catherine has 1/2 day today.   Let the craziness begin.   I think we are about ready for Christmas.   This has been a fun holiday season.  Today we are going to make Christmas cookies.

Tuesday, December 16th
Well today we got 1-2 inches of snow. Caroline and I shoveled the driveway. We had a great time. The girls had their last gymnastics class until after winter break. They both love gymnastics. They had fun. Jameson got a new job. Lets hope this proves to be a fit for him and he makes money too.
